We invite you to join us in supporting The Minerva Foundation’s Helping Women Work™ “MHWW” program.

MHWW is a “unique career-mentoring program that supports highly skilled and undervalued professional women who feel ‘boxed in’ in their attempts to re-enter the workforce and provide economic security for their families”. Volunteer coaches form part of the supportive environment that includes career professionals and mentors.

For the past three years, the ICF Vancouver Chapter has worked with The Minerva Foundation to include coaching as an integral part of the MHWW program. In 2006, the Vancouver ICF Chapter was honoured with the ICF Prism Acknowledgement Award 'Celebrating Excellence and Business Achievement through Coaching' for outstanding integration of coaching in the Minerva Helping Women Work ™ Program.

VICA member coaches have the opportunity to build on this successful alliance.

Volunteer coaches will:
• Work in partners – 2 coaches assigned to each coaching group of 4-5 women
• Provide coaching during ‘regular’ office hours
• Provide 6 - 60 minute bi-weekly group coaching sessions via telephone or in person
• Be onsite for one afternoon

Volunteer qualifications:
• Must be an ICF member coach
• Must have an ICF credential or Certification from a Coach Training School
• Group coach training and/or experience a definite asset

Sherry LeBlanc and Sarah Evans are co-leading the coaching component of the MHWW program on behalf of Vancouver Island Coaches Association Leadership Team. There will be Spring and Fall registrations and a roster of coaches is needed to support the ongoing program.

Interested coaches are invited to submit their interest in writing via email to Sarah Evans (250.655.6464)

This VICA sponsored alliance is chaired by: Sherry LeBlanc  (250.544.1071)
